I want to talk to you today about the power of accountability in community, which is always important, but especially important now with everything we’re going through globally and its effect on us personally, our personal life and our work.
I’m Anna Gatmon and wherever you’re watching this, this is coming to you from The Expansive with Anna Gatmon YouTube channel.
So I share a post every day across all my social media channels. And every day has a theme that relates to an aspect of The Expansive Path course, which is my signature course.
Now, if you look at each and every one of the posts I have, as well as my weekly video blogs– you watch them on my YouTube channel, Expansive with Anna Gatmon, or if you read them or listen to them or watch my weekly videos on my blog at AnnaGatmon.com– each one of these posts is a practice, is a spiritual practice that is grounded in the expansive teachings. And if you were to practice it, you would grow spiritually. You would tap into the spiritual resources, into your intuitive superpowers that are available to you at any moment.
You see, the difference between liking a post and practicing what it says in the post is the difference between reading about somebody else’s success and your own success, living your own success. And that’s what we each need to do now more than ever, because we’re not going to solve today’s problems and our problems as a result of that from the same mindset that created them. That’s the definition of insanity, right? Doing the same thing again and again, and hoping to achieve a different result. So we need to open up to a larger range of possibilities, creative solutions. And the place to go is to the larger spiritual reality, because in the larger spiritual reality, there is so much wisdom and there is beauty and there is wonder, and there are miracles and synchronistic events. All of these are the resources that we need in order to creatively solve the challenges that we are each facing with everything that’s going on in the world today.
And because everything is so overwhelming, it’s really hard to do it alone. It’s so much easier to be in community– to do it together, to solve our problems together, to support each other, to be accountable for each other, to be there for each other.
And so this is what I’ve decided to do: I’m going to transform my Expansive embership community into an accountability group for all of those daily posts that I share on social media, so that you don’t just have to like something, but you can actually do the practice and you can get the accountability, the inspiration, and the community to solve your problems together with the help of others. And you also get my undivided attention, my guidance, my support.
What I really want for you is transformation. What I really want for you is to be able to walk through the challenging times that we are walking through and feel that you have access to spiritual resources, to your spiritual essence, and that you can create the life that you want to live in, in spite of everything is going on because everything is crumbling and your world is being born. And at any moment, you have the opportunity to create a new world. But because it is so intense right now, it’s really hard to do alone.
And so in community and online– because we’re physically distancing anyway– is a perfect place for you to get the resources, the inspiration, the accountability, the undivided attention of a loving, safe, caring community, which I am creating for you and for all of us. My deepest belief is that at this time, what we need to do is hold each other’s hands and walk together through this narrow bridge of fear onto the other side, the promise of what’s possible, what we have each longed for for years.
