Self-doubt can undermine your dreams of making a difference in the world. It can crush your soul so that you never dare to express and manifest your most inner longings.

But self-doubt can also become your ally, because it indicates there is a dream and a vision inside you that is wanting to manifest specifically through you.

Think about it, you wouldn’t be tormenting yourself with self-doubt if this dream was not something that needed to come to life through you.

I don’t dream of being an athlete, and I don’t spend time doubting myself whether I could ever be a professional athlete. But I have spent a lot of time doubting whether to share my message with the world about how to live a spiritual life in our material world and how to find fulfillment and balance by living your highest calling.

Don’t you think it would be odd to stress about this, and keep me up at night, if it wasn’t my calling?

To quote Steven Pressfield from his book The War of Art: break through the blocks and win your inner creative battles, “if you find yourself asking yourself (and your friends), ‘Am I really a writer? Am I really an artist?’ chances are you are.”

Do you get what I’m saying? Your self-doubt about your calling in the world is an indicator it is your calling. Otherwise, why would you ever spend hours worrying about it and doubting yourself?

So, what is your dream and what keeps you up at night worrying whether it is your actual calling or just another dream of yours?

Leave a comment below and share a dream you have and how you undermine yourself and doubt your calling.

Remember! Your Calling Matters!
