A few weeks ago someone offered me a powerful message that has stayed with me:
You are a point of consciousness in the universe.
Wow! What a mind-blowing concept. It evokes an image of the universe, dark and vast, with formations of stars and galaxies; each one of us part of it, a point of consciousness within this vast universe. What a sacred responsibility it puts on each of us towards each other and our beautiful planet.
In the past few years I have been identifying with being a citizen of the planet rather than belonging to a specific country. This new awareness puts a different perspective on the interconnected relationship between us all and the universe.
What would it feel like to embody this perspective?
I am a point of consciousness in the universe; you are a point of consciousness in the universe.
How would you live your life differently with this awareness?
In light of this new understanding, I offer you one of my favorite quotes and important reminder:
“Your life is an occasion; rise to it!”

So, your life is a celestial occasion. Pretty cool to think of it in this way. Makes it extra special and worthy of your full dedication. How can you rise to this unique event in history called YOU? Anything stopping you from fully rising to this special occasion?
