Have you ever read a book that just blew you away and changed your entire perspective on life? I’ve read a few books like that.

I want to share some of them with you because I know that a sentence or an exercise in a book can open up a door to a whole new understanding, and propel you forward on your spiritual journey.

The six books I’ve picked have been significant milestones on my journey towards coming out with my own book, Living a Spiritual Life in a Material World: Four Keys to Fulfillment and Balance. They opened me up to a vast reality of which I was previously unaware. They helped me develop a practical and readily available method to access this spiritual reality and showed me how it can impact daily living.

These books have touched my soul, opened my heart, given me hope, and showed me the path to a larger spiritual reality where I am able to experience bliss instead of pain and inspiration instead of desperation.

What do all these books have in common? They all offer a doorway to a magical reality that is accessible to you and me and can directly improve our lives.

Here are the links to these books on Amazon:

Call of the Trees by Dorothy Maclean, offers profound spiritual teachings from trees. It’s a great book to keep by your bed and read, one teaching per night.

The Findhorn Garden by the Findhorn Community, tells the magical and amazing story of the founders of this world-renowned spiritual community, ecological village and educational center.

To Honor the Earth by Dorothy Maclean, with stunning nature photos by Kathleen Thormod Carr, offers visual and written inspiration and guidance on how to live in collaboration with nature.

Opening Doors Within by Eileen Caddy, offers a daily meditation and spiritual teaching for each day of the year. These are soundbites of teachings that you can take with you into your day. I’ve been using my copy for years.

Talking with Nature and Journey into Nature by Michael Roads , recounts the author’s spiritual awakening through metaphysical travels with the elemental beings of nature. It is gripping, beautifully written, and believable.

Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, is a long book I chose to listen to on Audible. I was totally engrossed, as each story revealed an expanded and more blissful reality that exists amidst us.

I hope you treat yourself to one of these books… Leave a comment below when you’ve read one of them and share your thoughts with me.
