The tranquility of the world rests in your being

Accessing inner peace is a cornerstone of all spiritual teachings. So, we strive to find some peace of mind and, if we are able to experience it for a moment, then we try to hold on to it and protect ourselves from the unsettling turmoil that seems to be everywhere these days.

 
But instead of trying to stay peaceful just for yourself, what if you could experience yourself as an oasis of peace for everyone you interact with during your day? That could bring you a renewed sense of meaning. Then you could become a force for peacefulness in our world. And we desperately need more of that.
